A friendly and busy pharmacy in Central Melbourne is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee its retail operations. With easy access to public transport, this role offers the perfect opportunity for a motivated professional looking to advance their career in a well-established community pharmacy.

Job Specification

This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who enjoys delivering patient-focused professional services while driving sales and meeting KPIs. The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing the entire retail operation of the pharmacy, as well as supervising another pharmacy manager. Key duties include:

• Overseeing day-to-day retail operations, including stock management and merchandising.
• Managing rosters for both pharmacies, including pharmacist schedules.
• Hiring and training staff as required.
• Working closely with the owner to achieve agreed KPIs.
• Ensuring compliance with S2/S3 regulations and pharmacy accreditation standards.

You'll be leading a supportive team consisting of 3 pharmacy assistants and 2 pharmacists, with a total staff of 20+ across the business.

Skills Required

• Certificate II or III in Pharmacy - S2/S3 qualification essential.
• Must have full working rights in Australia.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar retail pharmacy management role.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with QCPP accreditation.

Salary & Benefits

• $35 per hour (negotiable based on experience).
• Full-time position - 38 hours per week, including one weeknight shift.
