Community Pharmacy located in a tranquil town in the Central Highlands of QLD, approximately a 1.5hrs flight from Brisbane. Known as the "Gateway to the Outback". It's a great place to explore the stunning landscapes of the Central Queensland Highlands, including the Sapphire Gem-fields, where you can try your hand at fossicking for precious stones.
Enjoy the outdoor activities (Fishing, boating or hike or bike through the surrounding countryside.

Job Specification
As the locum pharmacist, you could be working both as a sole pharmacist and/or a team pharmacist depending on the day. You will be dispensing on Dispense-Work and with have plenty of support from very experienced dispensary technicians and support staff. If you are accredited to vaccinate this will form part of your duties, as well some Websters checking and a small number of suboxone patients and cannabis.

Dates:
Monday 29th September to 31st December 2025.
Open to more than one locum but Locums must be able to work min 4 weeks or longer to apply).

Work Hours - Roster 38 - 40 hours per week min (will be discussed with the locum directly). Store will be open on Public Holidays and prefer locum who is happy to work the public holidays if possible.

Store Hours:
Mon/Tues/Wed.Friday 8.00 to 7.00 pm (30 min break if not sole Pharmacist).
Thursday 8.00 am to 8pm pm (30 min break if not sole Pharmacist).
Saturday 8.30 - 5pm (no break).
Sunday 9-5pm no break.
Public Holidays 10 am to 4pm no break.



Experience Required:
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Experience with Dispense work (preferred but not essential).
* Able to work in a busy pharmacy environment as the sole pharmacist if required.
* Vaccination accreditation (preferred but not essential) .
* Suboxone exp (preferred but not essential .
* Cannabis exp (preferred but not essential).

Salary & Benefits: (paid by Pharmacy)
Weekdays $75/hr + super.
Weekends $80/hr +Super.
Public Holidays $100/hr +Super.

Travel: Flights or mileage comparable to flights ($0.99/km)
Accommodation: Self contained
Store Car available for use if locums flying in.
