Client & Location Information.
Retail community pharmacy located in a small town in central Western Qld. Known as the Garden City of the West, for its lush greenery. Approx 1071 Km from Brisbane, or flights to Barcaldine. Flights come in on Tuesday/Thursday and Saturday.

Job Specification:
As the sole locum pharmacist you will be using MINFOS for a low script trade. Your main duties will be to dispense, supervise staff and customer counsel. As a rural community pharmacy, there is a high importance placed on customer interaction. If you can vaccinate and dispense cannabis this may also form part of your duties.

Dates: Wednesday 30th April to Friday 30th May 2025. One locum for the full roster is required.
Flights come in on Tuesday/Thursday and Saturday. So locum can start the next day after flights come in.

Work Hours:
Monday-Friday // 8:45am-5:15pm (no break).
Saturday // 8:45am-12pm (no break).

However the client has advised they do have a local Pharmacist who may be able to work an odd day if you wished to work 6 days one week and 4-5 the next week.

Experience Required:
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Sole pharmacist capabilities (essential).
* Focus on customer counselling & interaction (essential).
* Vaccination Accreditation including COVID (advantageous).
* Cannabis exp preferred but not essential.
* Minfos exp preferred but not essential.


Salary and Benefits: (Paid by Pharmacy).
Standard rates:
Monday to Saturday $80 p/hr + Super.


Travel: Mileage or flights (Brisbane to Long-reach flight where Barcaldine is a refuelling stopover, Flights come in on Tuesday/Thursday and Saturday.
Accommodation - 1 bedroom attached unit to the pharmacy, kitchen & laundry facilities, WIFI, aircon/heater.
