Job Specification: Are you seeking career progression? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager or ambitious Pharmacist in Charge to take the next step and move into partnership. This small pharmacy group has the resources to support and mentor a future working partner!
As the Pharmacist Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of a well-established community pharmacy while inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Running the dispensary and stock control
- Supervising and managing staff
- Rostering
- Delivering professional services and counselling customers
- Liaising with other health professionals
- Visiting the hospital
- Managing PBS claims
- Maintaining compliance with board guidelines and dispensing
Skills Required:
- General registration with APHRA.
- Proven Australian community experience in a managerial role or as a Pharmacist in Charge
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
- Experience with Z dispense computer system
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive pay: $60-65 per hour
- $350 per week rental assistance
- Work hours: 45 hours per week
- Supportive and collaborative team environment with 2 pharmacists Monday - Friday, and 1 on Saturday
- 3 Dispense Technicians and 4 retail staff to assist you
Additional Information:
- Script Trade: 290-330 on weekdays; 50 on Saturdays
- Shop Hours: 9am-6pm Monday to Friday; 9am-12pm Saturday
- Methadone / ORT / CPOP: 2 patients
- Cannabis: 2-3 patients (administered by a practitioner)
- Vaccinations: Available, administered by a nurse (pharmacist accreditation not required)
- DAA / Packs: 46 beds (aged care) and 300 packs a week packed by technician
