Job Specification

As the Pharmacist Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both the pharmacy and dispensary. Your duties will include managing and supervising staff, rostering, counselling customers, ensuring compliance with pharmacy board regulations, and dispensing medications. There's also the exciting potential for a future partnership in this high-performing pharmacy, offering career growth for the right candidate.

  • Script Trade: 250/day

  • Computer System: Fred

  • Shop Hours: Monday-Wednesday 9am-5.30pm, Thursday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm

  • Work Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week on a fortnightly roster

  • Staffing: 1 Pharmacist, 1 Dispensing Technician, and 8 shop staff on weekdays (5 on weekends)

  • Webster Packs: Approx. 100 weekly, packed by the tech

Skills Required

  • General AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacist Manager or Pharmacist-in-Charge

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to provide excellent customer care and counselling

  • Knowledge of the Fred system is an advantage
