Client & Location Information:
Join a well-established community pharmacy in the heart of Victoria's beautiful Gippsland region. This tree-lined town, only 2.5 hours from Melbourne, offers a wonderful balance between work and lifestyle, with close access to Ninety Mile Beach, Gippsland Lakes, and the Victorian Alps.
Job Specification:
As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring efficient stock control, and managing PPA claims. Your role will also involve delivering DAA services, promoting MedAdvisor sign-ups, and increasing scripts on file. You'll be working with a friendly team passionate about providing top-notch care to their community.
Other duties include:
- Managing a script trade of 150-300 on weekdays and 50-80 on Saturdays
- Supporting nursing homes with 300-400 beds packed by a technician
- Working Monday-Friday with every second Saturday rostered (9am-12.30pm)
Skills Required:
- General registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist (essential)
- 2 years previous Australian community pharmacy experience (exclusive of internship)
- Strong financial acumen and time management skills
- A friendly, approachable manner with a passion for customer interaction
- Familiarity with Fred Classic and Fred Office systems
