Pharmacist in Charge - Central Victoria



- Attractive hourly rate: $60-$65/hr + $500 per week rental assistance
- Monday to Friday schedule with optional Saturday shifts
- Work with a supportive team in a community-focused pharmacy

Join a well-established pharmacy in this small, friendly town located around 2.5 hours northwest of Melbourne. Job Specification:

As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will lead the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional customer service and professional healthcare advice. Your responsibilities will encompass managing all aspects of pharmacy operations, including rostering, staff management, sales, and security. You will provide a range of pharmacy services, including dispensing, counselling, MedsChecks, vaccinations, and overseeing the daily opening and closing of the pharmacy.

Working with the FRED dispense system, you will collaborate with a skilled dispensary team, ensuring the best healthcare services for the community. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to thrive in a supportive, community-focused environment.



Skills Required:

  • General registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Pharmacy Board (AHPRA).
  • Accreditation to vaccinate.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Excellent time management skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • A positive, cheerful attitude and well-presented, reliable demeanor.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or as a senior pharmacist is preferred.


Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $60-$65/hr.
  • $500 per week rental assistance.
  • Performance incentives to reward your contribution.
  • Work hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5.30 pm. Optional Saturday shifts are available (to be discussed).
  • Support from a dedicated team, including two dispensary technicians and a pharmacy assistant/service manager.
