Client & Location Information:
Mackay on the Qld coast is the home of this hospital pharmacy providing a very real chance to secure that elusive role in hospital even if you are coming from a community pharmacy background.
Job Specification:
This is a Pharmacist role that provides a genuine opportunity to transition into a hospital pharmacy with full training being provided by the experienced Pharmacist in Charge.
The role will involve undertaking clinical ward rounds, maintenance of imprest requirements, processing hospital discharges and provision of drug information to nursing and ward staff.
It will also involve regular supply, customer service and dispensing functions, as well as patient counselling, webster-packing, and completion of the PBS claim. There is no need for hospital experience.
There is full training provided. The role is open to community Pharmacists who would like to transition to hospital or early career Pharmacists.
Skills Required:
- Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Enthusiasm to learn new things.
- All experience levels will be considered.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary package between $95K to $100K per annum plus super.
Relocation assistance available if moving to Mackay.
