A fantastic opportunity awaits in the vibrant inner-city suburb of Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. This well-established dispensary specialises in medicinal cannabis and offers both full-time and part-time positions for pharmacists looking to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

As the Medicinal Cannabis Pharmacist, you will:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, focusing on education, transparency, and safety.
• Dispense and check specialised medicinal cannabis prescriptions (with most dispensing handled by trained technicians).
• Verify patient prescriptions in accordance with Federal SAS-B and Authorised Prescriber guidelines, along with any relevant state approvals.
• Build strong relationships with clinic partners, including doctors, nurses, and practice managers.
• Collaborate with medical science liaisons from key brands to educate patients on their products.
• Keep up to date with clinical research in key therapeutic areas and medicinal cannabis products.
• Assist in packing patient orders for daily collection and manage inventory, including S8 stock.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention, security, and OH&S protocols.

You'll be working in a friendly, high-energy environment alongside 4-5 other pharmacists, under the guidance of a supportive and approachable Pharmacist Manager, who offers excellent mentorship and training, especially for early-career pharmacists. With 10 dispensary technicians on staff, you'll have plenty of support in your daily operations.

• Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
• Previous experience with medicinal cannabis is ideal, but full training is provided.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
• A commitment to staying informed about the latest research and developments in medicinal cannabis.

• $50-$55 per hour + super (higher rate offered for candidates with medicinal cannabis experience).
• Flexibility to work either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
• Located in Fortitude Valley, offering easy access to Brisbane city's amenities and public transport.
