Client & Location Information:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a community pharmacy located in the inner-western suburbs of Melbourne, just 5 km from the CBD. The area is renowned for its vibrant cultural scene, featuring some of the city's best international cuisine.


Job Specification:

As the Part-time Pharmacist in Charge, you'll play a pivotal role in providing essential health services to the local community. Your responsibilities will include dispensing medications, offering expert advice on over-the-counter products, managing a smooth pharmacotherapy program (45 methadone patients), and administering vaccinations.

You will be supported by a dynamic team, including one dispensing technician and two retail staff, with the sole pharmacist role rostered as follows:

• Sunday: 10am-6pm

• Wednesday & Thursday: 12pm-8pm

Skills Required:

• Current general AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.

• Previous experience with methadone programs (45 patients).

• Proficiency with FRED dispensing software.

• Ability to manage DAAs (110 packs weekly, with tech support).
