Job description
- Clinical Trials Locum Pharmacist.
- $70-$80/hr + super + T+A.
- 2 month assignment.
Public hospital located 1.5hrs North West of Melbourne.
Date: 9th Sept - 26th Oct (**Available 2 weeks earlier for training).
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5.30pm (1hr lunch break) 40 hrs per week.
Job Description:
As a senior Clinical Trials Pharmacist, you will assist in and/or lead of the clinical trials pharmacy service at Grampians Health Pharmacy Department, as part of the Operations & Logistics leadership team at Grampians Health Ballarat, dedicated to delivering the highest quality pharmacy service to our patients and their families.
This position is primarily allocated to the acute Ballarat site at Grampians Health. As a Grade 2 or 3 Pharmacist, you will be experienced in hospital pharmacy and preferably a post graduate qualification relevant to pharmacy.
key Responsibilities:
Serve as a vital and responsive resource for the GH Clinical Trials Unit, supporting their mission and goals.
Play an integral role in expanding the clinical trials service to other GH campuses as needed, enhancing our reach and impact.
Collaborate with senior pharmacy department leaders and managers to foster team building and drive excellence within the GH Pharmacy Department and the broader organisation.
Engage in pharmacy education programs, mentor and supervise undergraduate students, interns, pharmacy technicians, and resident pharmacists, and provide valuable education to the entire pharmacy team and staff from other disciplines.
Locums will need to provide:
- Confirmation of work status such as citizenship/permanent residency/work-visa
- Evidence of current Police Check (no less than 12 months old)
- Immunisation clearance **Fully COVID Vaccinated
Skills Required:
* Registered as a pharmacist with the pharmacy board (AHPRA registration)
* Grade 2 or 3 Clinical hospital pharmacist.
* Clinical pharmacy, oncology pharmacy, or hospital dispensary experience
* Demonstrated high level problem solving, interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
*Demonstrated highly developed organisational and management skills.
*Demonstrated patient focus in service provision
Salary & Benefits:
Pay Details: $70-$80 p/hr + super. (Neg based on experience).
Plus travel expenses (flat rate $300 each way, start and end assignment) and self-contained accommodation is on offer.
