Job Specification

As the second pharmacist, you will:

  • Dispense medications and provide patient counselling.
  • Conduct DAA checks and oversee medication packaging.
  • Administer immunisations and perform MedsChecks/Diabetes MedsChecks.
  • Participate in the Victorian Community Pharmacist Statewide Pilot.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver efficient and exceptional service.

You'll work across two pharmacies in town, supported by 1-2 dispense technicians, OTC floor staff, and counter assistants. The role includes handling 300 scripts per day using the FRED system, with responsibilities like checking 90 DAAs packed by technicians and managing 4 methadone/ORT patients weekly.

Shop Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Saturday: 9:00am-1:00pm
  • Sunday: Closed

Work Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm, with the possibility of alternative Saturdays.

Skills Required

  • General registration with AHPRA registration.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care.
  • 2 years in an Australian community pharmacy (exclusive of internship year)
